SIR: I am directed by the House to inform the Senate that the House has passed
the following:
H.C.R. 15, Inviting the Honorable John Hill, Chief Justice of the Supreme
Court of Texas, to address the Regular Session of the 70th Legislature.
H.C.R. 17, Relating to the 70th Legislature's support encouraging the selection
of Houston as the site for the 1988 Democratic National Convention.
H.C.R. 18, Granting each House permission to adjourn for more than three
days, beginning January 21, 1987, and ending January 26, 1987.
