The members of this body have been charged with a sacred trust. Guide them
with wisdom, insight, understanding, and dedication to the offices which they hold.
Grant to them courage and boldness, for both are required to meet the issues of the
hour.
May they conduct the affairs of government with uprightness, trusting in Thee
to supply our every real need. Protect their homes and families, and give to them
the joy and satisfaction of unselfish service and unswerving integrity.
Thank You, Lord, for eternal life for those whose faith is solely in Thee. May
we live before Thee now even as we would want to live before Thee in glory. Amen.
