day, traffic regulations, with few
exceptions, were obeyed, and there

fireworks demonstration, and though
there was some swimming in the ri-
ver, which is, of course unguarded,
here were no accidents of that n
ture. The swimming pool was filled
with bathers and swimming contest-
ants both days, but the crowd was
handled easily and capably, and be
cause the pool is so well guarded,
with perfect safety
