The panhandle section of the state is included as an inset in the lower-left corner. Counties are shaded in various colors and red hatch marks and numbers denote townships and Congressional Districts. Towns, bodies of water, geographic features and transportation routes are marked. There is an index on the back of the map containing "Location of Towns and Cities in Oklahoma According to State Census of 1907 and Other Reliable Sources."
