KNOT, all men by these presants that 1 John Brickey County
of S.^ Penevieve and Territory of Missouri have this day

constituted and appointed my well beloved and trusty friend
William Davis of the State of Tennessee and County of Blount
my attorney infact for me and in my name to transact my business
in all matters and things whatsoever as though I myself was pre-
sant as to him the Said Davis may seem best in law or Lquity
with all or every person
.The act of my Said attorney Shall be my act his receipts Shall
be my receipts given under my hand and Seal this 27 th day of
July 1818.
