Dear Mr. Schulz
The D l1as Museum of Fine Arts through its library service circulates
exhibitions to various museums and schools throughout the Southwest.
Such exhibitions include prints and paintings from our permanent col-
lection, photographs of sculpture and exhibitions showing the develop-
ment of art in America. These exhibitions provide a great educational
service to the people of Texas and are quite popular.
As one of these circulating exhibitions we are assembling a group of
original cartoon drawings from 30 leading American artists. We would
like very much to include some original drawings of "Peanuts" in this
group if you will join other artists in giving to the Museum's permanent
collection three to five original drawings from which this exhibition will
be prepared. Vie will also use a photograph of the artist and his bio-
graphy on the panel bearing the strips.
