Monday, March 8
Roscoe Little League
Roscoe Little League will have registra-
tion on Monday, March 8, at Roscoe City
Hall, and on Tuesday, March 9, at the
Roscoe High School Old Gym. The regis-
tration will be from 6-7:30 p.m. each day.
There are divisions for children from 4 to
15 years old. Please bring copy of child's
birth certificates.

Masons
Sweetwater Masonic Lodge #571 will
have a stated meeting on Tuesday, March
9, 2010, The dinner will begin at 5:30
p.m. and the meeting will follow at 6:30
p.m. DDGM Max Crowder will make his
official visit. All members are urged to

Free eBay Workshop
The Texas Tech Small Business
Development Center will be conducting
a free eBay workshop focusing on buy-
ing and selling on eBay. This workshop
is designed for individuals as well as
small businesses on how eBay can help
your existing business. This workshop
is Tuesday, March 9, from 4-6 p.m. The
workshop will take place in the Texas
Tech Conference room located on the
sixth floor of the Enterprise Building,

The Adult Literacy/ESL class will meet

Story Hour
Story Hour at the County-City Library
for parents and their children will be held
at 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, March 11. Dee
Ann Mulanax will lead the parents and

Business Workshop
The SBA (Small Business
Administration) will be presenting a
workshop on the resources available
through the SBA. This workshop is for
those wanting to start a business, exist-
ing businesses and expand their busi-
ness. This workshop is Tuesday, March
11, from 6-8 p.m. The workshop will take
place in the Texas Tech Small Business
Development Center Conference room
located on the 6th floor of the Enterprise

Brown Bag Workshop
The Texas Tec; Small Business
Development Center will host representa-
tives from the Texas Comptrollers Office

March 11, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the

Home School Story Hour
Home School Story Hour will be held
from 1:30-2:30 p.m. on Friday, March
12, 2010, at the County-City Library. The
libraiy staff will provide activities for the
children. Call 235-4978 for more infor-

Saturday, March 13
Boy Scout Display
The Pioneer Museum will host a special
collection of Boy Scout memorabilia until
Saturday, March 13. The hours of the
museum are Tuesday through Saturday
from 1-5 p.m. It is located at 610 East
Third in Sweetwater.
Rattlesnake Speedway
Rattlesnake Speedway will have their
first race of the 2010 season on Saturday,
March 13, during the Rattlesnake Round -
Up. The race will be in Newman Park at
the outdoor rodeo arena. The races will
start around 6 p.m and run until 11 p.m.
There will be no admission charge for this
race event. The track is also looking for
volunteers for this event and for the 2010
season. If anyone is interested, please
contact Kelly Andrus at 933-0314.

Skywarn Training
The Nolan County Skywarn Storm
Spotter Team will hold a training session
at 6 p.m. on Monday, March 22, at the
Sweetwater Fire Department, hosted by
the NCARA Radio Association and the
Sweetwater Fire Department. The public,
law enforcement, fire departments and
amateur radio operators are invited to
attend. For more information, contact

SHS Sports Photos
Sweetwater High School will take pic-
tures of spring sports athletes on Monday,
March 22. This will include all athletes in
baseball, boys and girls golf, softball,
boys and girls tennis and boys and girls
track.

Basketball Banquet
Sweetwater High School will have
its Mustang Basketball Banquet on
Thursday, March 25, at 7 p.m. at Texas
State Technical College. To get tickets or

Saturday, March 27
Benefit Dinner
Sweetwater Masonic Lodge #571 will
have its second dinner benefitting the
West Texas Children's Advocacy Center
from 5:30-7:30 on Saturday, March 27,
2010, at the Nolan County Coliseum
Annex. Barbecue sausage and chicken
will be served with all the trimmings.
Tickets are $10 each. There will also be
a silent auction that will close at 7 p.m.
Entertainment will also be provided at
the dinner.

Coliseum Annex. Go to

alley behind the library
to unload the donations

ready to help. The library
hours are Monday from
