The funds raised will go
to help restore Freddie the
Fire Truck.
Freddie the Fire Truck is
an exciting tool for teach-
ing fire safety. A fully ani-
mated fire truck robot,
Freddie moves, speaks,
listens, plays audiocassette
tapes and sounds his siren,
all by remote control. He
can wink, blink and move
his eyes and with his smil-
ing mouth he presents a
positive and friendly image
to young and old alike. He
can be used with great suc-
cess in school classrooms,
assemblies, station tours,
shopping mall exhibits,
state and local fairs and
any other setting where a
program is represented.
He's just the right size
for teaching children. He
can communicate with
them at their eye level and
when he moves he's not at
all threatening. He's per-
fect for hugs and kisses
from small friends. He's
agile enough to maneuver
easily in school classrooms
and other restricted areas.
With his headlights, tail-
lights and flashing warn-
ing lights he is highly vis-
ible.
Freddie is available
to visit any pre-school,
kindergarten or elemen-
tary building within the
county.

BY JESSICA REYES

As authorities scoured the area near a
Big Spring manufacturing plant where
human remains were found Tuesday,
the family of missing Colorado City teen
Hailey Dunn waited to hear more.
"I'm actually feeling dead. I don't know
what to feel," said Connie Jones, Hailey's
grandmother.
Jones has been waiting more than 14
months for her granddaughter to come
home.
"I'm still...2010 Christmas when she
was here. That's all I see, is her being here
that day," Jones said -
Attorneys for Hailey's mother, Billie
Dunn, and boyfriend Shawn Adkins
said the pair returned to Colorado City
Wednesday. Adkins is the only named
person of interest in the case.
"We've always and will always be open
and prepared for any future discussions
with law enforcement. And if they choose
to make an arrest, then that's their deci-

Ribbon cutting planned
for Doug Sitter State Farm
BY BELINDA
SERRANO
Staff Writer
Sweetwater- is getting
another "good neighbor"
as State Farm has intro-
duced another agent to the
area, Doug Sitter.
A native of the
Midwest, Sitter graduat-
ed from Southern Illinois
University with a degree
in Communications and
pursued his post-grad-
uate degree in Business
at Webster University.
Prior to joining State
Farm, he worked for three
years in Europe, includ-
ing England, Germany,
Ireland and Scotland.
While in the Midwest,
he met his wife, Brandi,
who grew up on a cotton
farm in O'Donnell, Texas.
She is a graduate of Texas
Tech University with a
degree in Merchandising
and Marketing.
As their family grew, the
Sitters wanted to move
closer to family. Following
the advice of his father-- "a
happy wife is a happy life",
Doug moved his family to
Dallas, but the desire to
be even closer to family
and small-town life still
lingered. When presented
with the chance to open a
State Farm agency either
in Dallas or Sweetwater,
he chose the latter.
The couple has been
married for five years and
have two children: Chloe,
who will be turning four
in April, and eight-month

to Sweetwater, the Sitter
family have visited several
local churches and they
look forward to involving
themselves with volun-
teering efforts and local
programs like they have
in the past, like the Big
Brother program and the
Race for the Cure breast
cancer campaign.
Doug has also become
a member of the Kiwanis
and Lions clubs, and as
a former tennis player in
college, Doug hopes to
