A Forced Run Won
The Came Yesterday
Fort Worth won again yesterday
from Corsicana in the eight inning
for no other reason than Method was
wild and forced in the winning run
with a base on balls.
The game was one of those eon-
tests that excites without compelling
admiration. The pitchers were not
at their best, for Jackson was hit for
eight safeties and, while only five hits
were made off Method's benders, the
Corsicana pitcher passed six of the
boys in blue and the last one forced
in the run that decided the game.
The score was as follows:

him, but it would be shocking, or at
least it was to John's head today.
His horse's name is Grape-Nuts

knocking him down. The horse was
dozing when John went u; to untie

just in time to hit John in the face
and almost jar his teeth loose.
