Splendid quality, ground on his mill

Surprise Boxes at N. H. Bather's.
Invest twenty-five cents and you get a
nice box of candy and always some
article of jewelry or other prize. Ye
candy buyers, old or young, how can
you resist. Maybe something valuable
will fall to you; but the curiosity is, at
least, worth 85 cents.
New Goods
At Denny's; all sorts, sizes, grades
and qualities to suit everybody. Do
you know Denny! Do you know
Decherd! If you do not, you are be-
hind the times in this country. They
are just where they have always been
and, we hope, where they will always
remain. When their new goods quit
coming you may quit buying—provi-
ded you don't need anything more.

Tbat"RoIl of Honor."
Editors Belton Journal—In
the local eolumn of your last paper we
saw the names of several young ladies
of Belton Academy printed under the
title "Roll of Honor." It gave us great
pleasure to see these young ladies re-
ceive the honor and credit so justly due
them, but why neglect the young gen-
. tlemen! We believe you willing to
show the same favor to the less fair and
leu gentler sex; we therefore present
you a list of the young gentlemen
whose conduct and recitation for the
past month was of the most excellent
character: RobertJMiller, Wesley Mc-
Clain, Sam. W. Rather, Sereno Taylor,
John McWhifter, Albert Bently, Numa
Whitson, George Hefly, Sammy Garner.
L.
The young men must excuse us. Our
"weakness" for the other side of the
house caused us to overlook them.
