one blue and one brown eye. She's friendly, playful
and loves her toys! Bunny seems to be good with

10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; and Sunday from 1 to 3:30 p.m. The cost

Cathedral of Hope offers 5 services on
Easter, starting with sunrise service
The Cathedral of Hope will hold five Easter
services on Sunday, March 23, beginning at 7
a.m. with a contemporary sunrise service. That
service will be followed by traditional worship
services at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. at which Rector
and Senior Pastor the Rev. Jo Hudson will
preach on the Easter-themed topic "I am
Convinced: Christ is Risen."
The church's Ministerio Latino will hold
Spanish-language services at 1 p.m., and the
day will conclude with the Sunday evening
service, "Vespers: Evening Prayer &
Communion," at 6 p.m.
The Cathedral of Hope, a congregation of the
United Church of Christ, is located at 5910
Cedar Springs Road. Services are free and open
to all.
Turtle Creek Association, Dallas
Symphony present Easter in Lee Park
The Turtle Creek Association and the Dallas
Symphony Orchestra present their 23rd annual
Easter in the Park celebration on Sunday, March
23, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Lee Park.
Everyone is invited to bring a picnic lunch
and enjoy the day's events, usually highlighted
by large numbers of colorful costumes and elab-
orately decorated Easter bonnets.
There will also be food vendor booths avail-
able.
The schedule includes the Pooch Parade,
which contestants can enter for a $10 fee to com-
pete for Best Dressed Dog, Best Large Dog, Best
Little Dog and Best Owner/Pet Look-Alike.
The contest is preceded by an SPC.A of Texas
parade of adoptable dogs.
The Dallas Symphony Orchestra will per-
form at 3 p.m.
Stonewall Democrats holding conference
call party with Tammy Baldwin
Stonewall Democrats of Dallas will host "An
Evening with Tammy Baldwin," a nationwide
conference call party with the Wisconsin
Democrat who is the first out lesbian to serve in
Congress, on Thursday March 27.
Baldwin will discuss the 2008 presidential
race and the status of LGBT equality in America,
and offer tips on becoming a national delegate.
The event is being held at the home Stonewall
Democrats President Jesse Garcia, 3827
Stockton Lane in Dallas. Refreshments and
appetizers will be served.
Admission is free for Stonewall members are

Equality Texas Foundation, CCGLA,
Unitarian Church present film screening
The Equality Texas Foundation, in partner-
ship with the Collin County Gay and Lesbian
Alliance and the Community Unitarian
Universalis! Church, will present a second free
screening of Daniel Karslake's documentary
film "For the Bible Tells Me So" on Friday,
March 28, at 7:30 p.m. at the church, 2875 East
Parker Road in Piano.
The screening will be followed by a panel dis-
cussion led by Community Unitarian senior
