club Wednesday at the pnq, of the
membership contest sponsored by
the club.::This is a gajn of 18 mem-
bers since the first of the year.
One new member was added this
week, Weldon Dendy having join-
ed during the' week.
The Growlers, headed by „ Jack
Arthur, will entertain the Roarers
captained by Fred Llttlefield, af
the~annual Charter Night-banquet
next Tuesday night. Wives and

Crosbyton. Funeral services Were
held at .the Methodist church on
Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock

ing. She was buried in the Crosr

Mrs. Edler had lived In Crosby
county for a number Of years and
had been in ill health for some

She is survived by her husband,
mother, Mrs. W. K. Dazey; three
sisters, Mrs. B. W. Newman, Mrs.

and two weeks ago he had some-
thing "that he wanted to get be-
fore the people &nd naturally he
thought first of the Review and
placed an ad giving prices on gas-
oline and kerosene.
The results of this advertisement
were good, Mr. Crump said this
week, he having gained several
new customers from one ad. The(
day "he was in the Review office

A deal was closed last week in
which Homer Wallace sold his in-
terest in the Joe and Homer lie-
pair Shop to his partner Joe John-
ston. Homer said he didn't know
yet what he would do but hoped
to remain in Crosbyton. Joe is
making his announcement this
week in regards to the business.
