The Rev. Dr. Thomas McHutchin Cunningham (March 22, 1887 - March 3, 1979) wrote these letters to family members from April 14, 1918 to November 28, 1927. Note:

Cunningham was the author of "Hugh Wilson, a pioneer saint; missionary to the Chickasaw Indians and pioneer minister in Texas; with a genealogy of the Wilson family including 422 descendants of Rev. Lewis Feuilleteau Wilson." T.M. Cunningham was a great-grandson of Hugh Wilson, the first Presbyterian minister in the Republic of Texas. These letters are in the private collection of Mary G. Marshall, and were given to her by Cunningham's daughter, Hilda Grace "Tinker" Cunningham Rautenberg.
