Dear Folks at Home,The
Fincher-Harbeson meeting started out very wellindeed yesterdf morning. The Methodist church just
next door to us,invitel us to occupy tihir building
last night and we accepted. The house rwa packed,an d
iissisarbeson' s singing is the talk of the town this
morning. I have no doubt that in a very few days -w
are going to have to accept the methodists invitation
to use their church a^in for the rest of the meetit.
The pastor of the Leth.ch.is to be away next Sunday,
and they were not goi-g to use the church anyway, so
it fits right into our plans. That church and ours
are very friendly all the time, infadt held-a union
meeting just this tirae last year in thett church,
I thirl we are in for a good meeting. We have made
eve
possible preparation for it and the Spirit of
God is already manifest in the increased interest of
the people.
r.Fincher -.ikes my plan for building a mission in
. Gainesville, and says he will mpke the meeting serve
that end. I took him over the territory of the proposed
mission 'field yesterday, and he was delighted
with the prospect of a fine mission there.
Took Dr.Fincher outv to Wolf iidge yesterday afternoon, and
he iade a fine impression there, sttin, the
vfiole leijborhood to pledge to come into town for tbhe
meeting this week. Their choir will sin for us tonht
and the whole church, is planning to core in a body 7 ed.
