Throckmorton, Wed. Mar. 5, 1919.
Have juststraightened out and gotten fixed fcr work
in a room in the School dormitory.. Couldn't bring my
book case with me this trio so I just nailed together
the boards from the toos of the boxes in which my book
were shiiped and Mmade a temporary book case until I cs
do better.
I like my room fine and the meals are good. Mrs.
Cain cooks for us and we take care of our own rooms.
There are four teachers and one student in the house
and her.and Mrs.Price,SuDt.of the School,take their
meals here.
We had fine crowds at services both mcrning and
night last Sunday. The Eap.Dastor was out of town
tnd the whole church turned out to our reaching.
Monday evening I went with the Meth.pastor to "42"
where he reached to a gcod crcwd at 8 o.m.. Visited
with my members till the next afternoon and walked
intc town
7 miles. I arranged with them to Dreach
for them each 2nd Sun.afternoon after this month. Next
Sunday, which is the 2nd,J had already promised to oreac
for the Ft.Griffin church. I expect I shall give 5th
Sunday to Ft.Griffin tco.
I don't know how I shall manage to get down to E.v.
next week, but I5m sure there will be some way for me
even if I have to walk . Mr.Euck wants to go down for
a fishing trip soon and I may get him to go conveniently
for me. /a
