By the time Mr.Will ,Alvin and I reached Throckmortoi
last Tuesday I had decided to stood in Tm. for a few
days before going to Stamford, as I wasn't due there
till Thursday night and several things here demanded
my attention. Thursday moraingafter borrowing some
money frmm aunt Sallie and Mr Jarrnon I purchased a FORD
in which I made the trio to,-Stamford that very day.
Of course I enjoyed the visit 'in Stamford. aang in
a duet with Mrs White at the reception Thursday ni '
and a solo Friday night. Stamford' was all, dressed u'D
for the occasion
all the show windows profusely
decorated and the square and streets made very attraction
The.Sherrill,-'irbs were at the Drogram Friday night
with the Symohony club of Haskeli which rendered one
number of the program. I took them back to HasL-: thai
night and stayed all night with them, arousingtLewis at
1:30 when I pot in bed with him. Lewis doesn't say muc
about his experience in France. He will preach at
Wichita Falls this summer till he leaves for Lduisvillo.
