The Project is conducted in cooperation with Texas colleges and universities, county officials, and the Texas State Library."--Foreword

"The inventory of the Grayson County Courthouse records was begun in April, 1974, by Dr. Ed Philips and students from Austin College. Project staff members completed the initial survey in May, 1975. The recheck and verification of the initial inventory was undertaken and completed by Project staff members during February to May of 1980."--Preface

Initial inventory was done by Ed. Phillips, Debby Dunn, Mary Pearson, Douglas Ferrier, Cindy Page, Margaret Shuman, Kathy George, Lisa Gulick, Jana Wheeler, and Paul E. Nehr.
