Christmas eve dawned bright
and dear, with no sign of the
beaatiful snow which helpe to
nuike Christmas. So warm really
oae woaders if it did not eome
too sooa. At the hour Appointed
for meeting, all the people from
the surrounding country gather-
ed at the Church, where s short
program was rendered, one of the
beet numbers being s short talk
by Miss Griffith. After this the
attention of the crowd was drawn
to the beautiful tree loaded with
beautiful presents.
Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Pickett en-
tertained a few of their many
friends on Christmas day. Such
a crowd and such a feast is not
seen often. There were fifty-four
who were fortunate in being pres-
ent. The out of town guests were
Miss Griffith, of Clovis, N M„
and Mra Basson of Muleshoe.

Church Christmas night conduct-
ed by Bee. Florence.
Mr. and Mrs. Cash entertained
in honor of Miss Griffith Thurs-

Mrs. B. B. Easter is at home,
after several weeks visiting with
relatives in Hill Counjy.
Bryan McDonald is at home,
after an absence of twenty-two
months in the Laboratory Dept.
in Ft. Sam Houston.

ably active and energetic for one

recovery.
