Died, of black jaundice, at the
residence of S. M. Flournoy, at
Winsboro, Texas, on October 12th,
18SS, Mrs. Nettie D. Leath, aged
20 years and 4 months. The de-
eea.- 1 wa formerly Nettie D.
Flournoy, and was born atCherino,
in \a"0gilorhc-s county, Texas, on
Juno 12th, 1 SOS, and was married
to Dr. .1. II. Leath, of Quitman,
Texas, April 10th, 1X87. Before
her j11nrr":i_•:<■ Mrs. Leath, for sev-
eral years, had made her home at
Quitman with her brother, Sam M.
Flournoy, to whom she was de-
votedly attached. After her mar-
riage to Dr. Leath the young mar-
ried couple began house-keeping in
Quitman and life held forth noth-
ing but promises of true and sin-
cere happiness for each. They
^ were highly esteemed in the com-
I munity in which they lived by all
classes.
