They are five adult males, each wearing a vest, a garrison cap, a white shirt and pants. The three members in the middle are carrying flags while each of the two members on either end balance a rifle over their shoulders. The parade took place on a major road in League City.

League City residents organized the Library in 1971. It was renamed in 1985 in honor of one of the charter members Helen Hall. Today, it's one of the busiest and largest libraries in the Galveston County Library System and is also a member of the Houston Area Library System.
