Photograph of a choir performing in League Park during the Christmas Eve in the Park event. The choir members are standing together in rows, holding up folders of music as they sing. A man conducting their performance is standing before the group with his music stand in front of him. Two microphone stands are set on either side of the conductor. Festive holiday decorations such as red ribbons, garland, and Christmas lights are dispersed throughout the park.

League City residents organized the Library in 1971. It was renamed in 1985 in honor of one of the charter members Helen Hall. Today, it's one of the busiest and largest libraries in the Galveston County Library System and is also a member of the Houston Area Library System.
