to Cyrillic alphabet and basic communication in the Russian language.

continuation of FLRU 111. Travel and life in Russia are the basis for

FLRU 221 Intermediate Russian 1 (3-0-3), on demand. Building on
the foundations of the first year, conversational skills are developed
for more complicated situations which may be encountered in daily
life in Russia. Prerequisite: FLRU 112 or equivalent through testing.
FLRU 222 Intermediate Russian 11 (3-0-3), on demand. A
continuation of FLRU 221. Some political and technical terms will
be introduced. Conversational skills improved to an independent
