track & field( career of Hann Ollison. The Colorado
City native will go (lown as one of the g.ncatcsl
NCAA Division III athletes of all time as he was
a six-time national champion and a 17-time dall-
American. Ollison might l)e becst rcememllerec for
his pcrfolrnance at the 2008 Outdoor National
Championship where he helped contribute to
34 of McMurrv's 35 team points en route to
leading McMurln to its first-ever team National
ChamIlionship. Ollison finished out his McMuIrN
career as a two-time national champion III the outdoor
400-meter dash, a two-time national chal;pion in the
indoor 400-meter dash, and a two-time melimber of thenational champion McMulrrv ouloor 4x1()00-
meter relay team. Ollison was also a three-tinle
ASC Male Outstanding Track Athlete of the
Year award winner. For his 2009 senior vcar
pclrformance, the 1.S. Track & Field and Cross
Countl'r Coaches Association honored O()llison
as the Soutlh/Southeast Rcgion Men's Track
Athlete of the Year, and ()llison also became
just the third athlete in McMurrv history to win
the ASC Male Athlete of' the Year award.F
