Indorse Offer for Instiuitlon.
The following resolution as an
expression of the meeting was
adopted:
"1. This conference of business
men of Dallas heartily indorses the
action of the Chamber of Commerce
in pledging Dallas to secure the re-
moval to this city of Southwestern
University. - '
"2. That a mass meeting of all
men and women of Dallas interested
In this movement be called for Tues-
day night May 24 1910 such meet-
ing to be held at such place as may
be found adequate in size and con
venlent in location by the university
committee and notices to be put in
the newspapers and circulars to be
distributed Informing the public
thereof. '
3. That a steering committee to
act with the university committee
until the mass meeting be appoint-
ed by the chairman of such commit-
tee to consist of not loss than twelve
members whose duty it shall be to
Interest the public in this movement
and have charge of the publicity
work thereof."

Lyman Field McDonald of This City
Graduates from Kentucky Mili-
tary InHtltute at Lyndon.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry A. McDonald
have been notified that their son
Lyman Field McDonald has gradu-
ated from the Kentucky Military In
stitute at Lyndon Ky. with high
honors. The young man has attend-
ed this school for four years each
term showing excellent work. For
tba term of four years' the young
nan in company with his class has
spent his winters at the school's win-
tec borne at Eauyalla Fla.
The son . has telegraphed his par-
fcnts that he will arrive as early this
week as pocslble. Ho comes to cla!m
a half Interest In his father's store
offered as a premium for graduat-
ing with the showing made. The
young man will enter business with
his father and give the greater part
of his time to the enterprise. Ho Is
decidedly popular In Amarlllo and
his homecoming will be an event of
gladness to all.
