SCOUTING IN ACTION
' THROUGHOUT the United States, Scouts and
Scouters have swung into action to make effect-
ive the program of the Boy Scouts of America for
Strengthening and Invigorating Democracy. An In-
ventory and Roll Call is surveying Scouting's boy
and man-power resources. Emergency Service train-
ing is taking on new importance and emphasis
(see pages 6-7). Boys are eager to become
Scouts and Cubs (see page 5). Scouts
are in action everywhere.
