  • Content Description: Handwritten affidavit by W. W. Scoggins. Scoggins drove his cab to a gentleman's club and purchased a cold drink to go with his lunch. Returning to his cab, he was beginning to eat his lunch when he saw an officer get out of his car and speak to a man. Scoggins heard three or four shots and the officer fell. He reported the incident to his dispatcher and the dispatcher called an ambulance to the scene.
