At our '81 national
jamboree, Scouts will
walk in the footsteps
of Washington
and Jefferson,
Grant and Lee.
IT WAS ON a windswept,
500-acre island off the coast of
Dorset on the south central Eng-
lish coast that the soldier-hero
gathered the 21 boys. His design
was to test an idea for a unique
boys' program.
For a week in late July and
early August he ran them ragged.
