Mrs. Dodson was married four times. She is the ancestor of
the Hendrivk family at Tatum. Her third husband was Allen Vince
of Vince's Bridge, at the Battle of San Jacinto. Her last husband
was Rev. Obediah Dodson, whom she married 26 May 1850 in Rusk County
Texas.
Rev. Obediah Dodson died about 1855, and is also said to be
buried here. He was a Baptist, and organized the Holly Springs
Baptist Church at Pine Hill in 1851.
