CHAMPIONS
2004-2005 HSU Men's Tennis
The men's team had another banner season that included
their fourth straight ASC title. En route to the title, the
Cowboys moved their ASC win streak to 43 matches.
The doubles team of David Wu and Brad Grace was
selected to participate in the NCAA Doubles Championship
and made a run to the semifinals to earn All-American
honors. They fell in a dramatic three-setter in the semifinals.
For the season the Cowboys went 16-5 on the year. David
Wu was named the ASC player of the year.
Tanner Reed is about to slam one cross
court for another point against McMurry.
Tanner, a freshman, finished 7-4 this year in
the singles category and didn't really do too
badly in the doubles.
Chris Palmatier forces a shot down the
line vs. Centenary in an attempt to score
a point.
Sophomore Wes Kidd was the leader
in singles this year with a 13-7 record.
Here he slams a serve to Texas Tech's
Demetrius Martinez.
