Dr. W. Craig Turner, 14th President
of Hardin-Simmons University, is
pictured on the new bridge that now
spans the reflection pond.
The bridge, which was dedicated on
May 10, was the project of the Senior
Class of 2002 and the HSU Student
Congress. Last spring the Student
Congress began raising $35,000 for the
design, construction and delivery of the
Leggett Unity Bridge.
The bridge is named in memory of the
late Judge K. K. Leggett, an attorney
and one of the leading founders of
Abilene Baptist College, now HardinSimmons
University.BRONCO 3
