FARCE AT ITS
CRAZY BEST!!!Noises Off takes Van Ellis Theatre by storm with its slap-stick antics
and colorful theatre spoofs, leaving the audience rolling in their seats.
Written by Michael Frazzo, Noises Off is a play within a play, portraying
stereotype actors as well as situations that everyone suspects really does
typify theatre-life. For this reason, audiences were more than eager to
actively be involved in each night's performance, appreciating the falls,
sardines, jumbled lines, boxer shorts, word plays and hilarity. The
Noises Off cast primarily consisted of faces new to the Van Ellis stage;

timing, which is absolutely essential for the success of a farce.V "I don't understand" cries the airheaded
Brood (Ambre' Low) as the
drunkard Selsdon (Allan Gray) looks on.A Oh dearly Freddy, love has more problems than just his bloody nose
(L-R: Anita Cook, Scott Allen, Lauri Phillips).I
