In turning back upo$ the
pages of Lipecomb county's
past, we can look with pride
and pleasure at the ihirfeen
years backward when Win, H.
Rabe, living six miles north-
west of town, who started at
the beginning on a half section
of land. Through steady^ toil
and painstaking in his labor
has proved himself a progress-
ive farmer, having been a pro-
ducer of the ma ny^ crops which
this county is adapted, he has
raised brolom corn, kafir and
marketed many a load of wheat,
besides dkbbling in Indian
corn and maize with success.
He has this winter mftst recent-
ly completed the erectioii of a
fine country reside&cd ' and
other valuable
that denotes very plai ^ ^
he has been "making good**
in this healthful climate of
ours. At the present tifiae Mr.

cattle, which with the usual
ma of good judgement i&d a
lair market will line his purse
with ' gelt" enough to take
things easy^or a day or two.
