Saturday is the big day during Homecoming week. The most important event took
place, the game between Tarleton and Sul Ross. The crowded stadium watched the
Texans plow over the Lobos with a 37-14 victory.
The Purple Poo attended the event to lead the crowd in "Oscar P" and cheer the
Texans to a win.
Half-time activities began with the presentation of the Homecoming Queen and
her court. Pam Massey was crowned and received the roses and watch. She was
escorted by her father.
The band began the entertainment and the Texan Stars performed to a patriotic
theme. A very special touch was added as the University Choir sang. The half time
activities set the mood as the Texan football team continued the spirit which ended in
success.
