Back in the '40s and '50s, John Tarleton Agricultural College was rivals with North Texas Agricultural College (now the Uni-
ersity of Texas at Arlington). Whoever won the football game that year was presented with a silver bugle that was kept at the
ctorious school until the next year's game. NTAC won the final game in 1958 and have misplaced the bugle. To commemorate this
mecoming there is a campus wide scavenger hunt full of Tarleton tradition Questions to find the long lost silver bugle. The Silver
3ugle hunt occurs on Monday night and is planned by the Tarleton Ambassadors. Teams of four run from landmark to landmark
Answering Questions trying to make the top ten and advance to the final round. The final round includes letters corresponding to
each correct Question from the previous round. The letters make up a riddle to lead the team to the silver bugle.
Kappa Delta Rho won making 2011 the seventh consecutive year that they have won.traditions /// 45
