MARIAM LOWE, A. B., GUNTER, TEXAS
"Mariam." Major: Education
Two years work in Gunter Christian College; A. C. C. three summers.
Mariam is largely a correspondent student for she has never spent a long session in A. C. C.,
but has taken correspondence work for the past two years. She has proven herself worthy as a
teacher for several years, some of which were spent in Cordell Christian College, and we know she
will continue to be successful in the teaching profession which she intends to follow.
JOHN PAUL GIBSON, A. B., WASHINGTON, D. C.
"J. P." Major: Biology
A. C. C. since Fall of '21; Press Club; Assistant Business Manager Prickly Pear; Debater;
Harding; Sub T-16.
J. P. came from Washington to the wilds of West Texas. Since his arrival in '21 he has,
however, been very enthusiastic with his lot and has won many honors in forensics and dramatics.
He has finished his pre-med work and intends to continue it in a medical school. If his life as
a surgeon is as successful as his life in A. C. C. there will be nothing to regret.
ELIZABETH BAXTER, A. B., ABILENE, TEXAS
"Elizabeth." Major: English
A. C. C. '20, '21, '22, '25; Violin Graduate; "W" Club; Zellner.
Elizabeth is very quiet and modest, and possesses a talent as a violinist, being shown by her

"Little Symphony Orchestra" of Abilene. Though very reserved she is well known among
the students and her winning personality has been a revelation to those who know her.-42
