VALENTINE PARTY

THE X. Y. Z's VALENTINE PARTY.
The Faculty and G. B. C's. of Abilene Christian College were
delightfully entertained by the X. Y. Z's. with a Valentine party.
The dining room of Daisy Hall was elaborately and artistically
decorated with red hearts of all sizes. Arches and draperies of
red and white proved very effective over doors and windows,
and around the posts. The receiving line was formed with
Brother Sewell at the head, and soon the hall was filled with
a merry, chattering throng. Upon arrival, each girl was given a
key which she fitted into the heart worn by some boy present.

After the partners were all found, lively conversations took
place for some time, when broken hearts were. given the boys to
put together and each girl had the missing piece to somebody's
heart. When all the hearts were patched up satisfactorily, the
various couples visited the fortune teller together-some of them
returned laughing and some blushing. Again hearts were matched
and when completed were found to have the verse of a song
written upon them and much fun was obtained by the rendition
of some of the songs by those drawing them,. A nice favor
was given to the quartet whichrendered the best selection.
