on a motion picture company's struggle during its
transition from silent films to "talking pictures."FIT AS A FIDDLE

0This year's talented cast included David
Nanny as R.F. Simpson, Cody Shade as Roscoe Dexter,
Jason Atchley as Cosmo, Cindy Couch as Lena
Lamont, Julie Merwarth as Kathy Seldon, and
Michael Ozmun and other students from the drama
and music departments. There was even a surprise
cameo from faculty member Neil St. Clair, who
showed the audience his new "Talking Pictures Machine."The show was choreographed by Rob
Flebbe and Dr. Nancy Jo Humfeld, who also directed.
The orchestra was led by Dr. Cynthia
Sheppard, and stage manager was Gina Beaver.
Sadly, this was the first year that the Homecoming
musical was not performed at Coggin Theatre.
However, at the end of the final performance,
Neil St. Clair invited all HPU alumni who had ever
performed on Coggin's stage to stand up for special
recognition. This was a very touching moment for
everyone in the audience as well as for all of the
alumni and cast.
