THE TRAIL
HAMMOND MOORE MCINNIS
HAMMOND-Ham is an Oklahoma product, and if they raise them all like him we hope they
send us some more. He is a halfback that can pass, run, and kick. The off-tackle play
was built for him--he is quick and cuts back well. These assets make him a player
that will do well. Ham is a Freshman this year, but his Sophomore year has nearly
arrived, and we are looking for him to win some games for Baker then.
MOORE-Juk is Comanche's offering for a freshman center. He is a sure paser and a wonderful
defensive player. Mule will always crash them where he meets them, and he is the type
that makes the meeting place as far on their side of the line as possible. Mule should
be a wheelhorse next year.
MCINNIS-Mac has played two seasons for Daniel Baker at guard, but this season he was moved
to tackle. He has always been aggresive and a fighter, but at his new position he seemed
to develop the symptoms of an all-T. I. A. A. player. He is a sure and hard tackler;
he knows the body block and uses it; he is a demon with his hands, and when nothing
else will work he can submarine to perfection. These traits won for him the captaincy
of the Hill-Billies for 1926.MAC BLOCKS A PUNT
