glued together in making it That is
the way all propellers aro made
Tho machine that this propeller comes
off of was n Trench machine nnd was
used on tho Trench flrolng lino for along

for school or for training purposes

Mrs P W Mitchell died Monday night
October 21st at 10 oclock in Canyon
from Spanish influenza which later developed
into typhoidpneumonia Ills
parents nnd other relatives and friends
woro about him when his spirit winged
its way from earth
Roy as ho was affectionately known
by his Tulla friends nnd chums was
born September 20th 1819 near Bartlctt
Bell county Texas Ho was n graduate
of tho Tulla public school A hardworking
young man ho however had
nspirations nnd sought to improvo him
solf nnd bo of greater benefit to tho
world by means of a higher education
Expressing n willingness nnd determination
to study his father gladly backed
him and ho entered tho Amnrlllo Busi
ness Collego last summer Hero ho
I mastered tho studies and problems pro
I sontcd to him Last September the call
came from tho United States Government
for nil men between tho ages of
18 nnd 45 years A gracious Govern
ment giving him tho benofit of an education
ho willingly entered West Texas
Stato Normal Collego at Canyon and
beenmo ono in tho Students Army
Training Corps
But nlns tho dreaded Spanish influ
enm settled upon him Doctors loved
ones nnd nurses did tho very best thoy
could Tor nine days ho lay sick and
suffering For n tlmo It seemed that
they would succeed and that Roy would
bo spared to us for many moro years of
usefulness But it wns not to bo so
Amid tho sound of tho falling of Gods
blessings in tho raindrops nnd surrounded
by loved ones and friends ho passed
nwny upon this eventful Monday night
His brief span of Hfo upon earth was
oaly 10 years and 22 dnys
