Ann Kenfrcv K3 were held Thursday
afternoon at the Corinth Baptist
church at Corinth near Cisco
The Rev Hardy Klmbler of East
land officiated Uurlal was In the
Corinth cemetery under the direction
of Wallace Funeral Home
of Tulia
Mrs Rcnfro died Tuesday night
in Swisher County hospital following
a brief illness She moved here three
weeks ago and was making her
home with a brother Mr and Mrs
A L Scabourn of Route 1
She was born Jan 8 1893 at
Cisco She had lived at Cisco and
Abilene She had lived in Tulia off
and on for the past three years
Survivors include a son J D
Hanks of Midland seven brothers
Gus Scabourn of Arizona Joe Bill
and Clifford Scabourn of Cisco Lee
of Tulia Gordon of Eastland and
Woodrow Scabourn in the army stationed
in Arizona and one sister

They found Bobby Hill who was
injured in a car wreck several months
ago is attending school in his
wheel chair His right leg is still In
a cast but he continues to improve
The many friends of the family will
be glad to receive news of his im
improvement
Mrs Alta Campbell and daughter
Mrs Robert Green and small son
Ronnie of Denver Colorado have
been in Tulia visiting their father
and grandfather R J Stalllngs and
other relatives and friends
Carol Berry left Sunday to enroll
as a Freshman at Texas Tech
T M Llttlejohn is reported to be
improving as fast as can be expect
