SESSION OF 1919-'20

Attendance at Religious Services
Attendance at Chapel services each school day is required of all
students.
The faculty reserves the right to dismiss any student who does not
attend church regularly. Experience has shown that the undesirables
are among those who do not attend church. No student will be expected
to remain in the college homes during the Sunday night
services, but to attend church.
Assignment of Rooms
A student may be asked to change his or her room when the interest
of all may best be regarded by doing so.
No student will be permitted to select a boarding place that is not
satisfactory to the faculty.
No student will be permitted to change his boarding or rooming
place at will.
All students may be removed in a body from any private boarding
house at any time provided the proprietor does not co-operate with
the college.
The discipline committee shall have charge of the moving of any
or all students who are boarding elsewhere than in the college homes.
The occupants in the college homes will be held responsible for all
damages occurring therein.
Absences
Students who are absent from class or examinations who are excused
are graded "F," and may be given an opportunity to make up
the work missed. All unexcused absences are graded "F" and no
opportunity to make up the work' will be granted. Two tardies may
count an absence.
Three unexcused absences during one term result in suspension
from the course.
Three unexcused absences from chapel during any one term may
result in suspension from school.
Withdrawals
If any student should wish to withdraw from the college, he should
see the president and receive an honorable discharge.
A failure to comply with this regulation may mean the loss of all
returnable fees and dismissal from the college.
Any student desiring temporary absence from the college will obtain
permission before absenting himself.
If a student should leave without permission, he will be permitted
to remain in school only on probation.
When a student withdraws from the school the Bursar shall at
once notify the teachers concerned.
Change in Course of Study
A student may change his course in either of two ways. The instructor
may recommend the change or the student may change his
course, provided he gets the consent of the instructor whose department
he leaves and the instructor whose department he enters. The
recommendations must be taken to the Dean, who may accept or reject
them.
