as are practical for students of this advancements. Special
'passages will be memorized. The sixth and seventh grades
will take this course.
COURSE B.
MRS. SEWELL.
The Bible by Periods.
The Session-Daily.
This is a course covering the entire Bible by periods. The
purpose is to have the students become thoroughly. familiar
with the different periods of Bible history and the chief events
and characters connected with each. We believe that a comprehension
of the Bible as a whole, with all of its proper
divisions, is necessary in order to properly understand, practice
and teach this great Book. We consider this one of our most
practical and valuable courses. The eighth and ninth grades
will do this work,. More advanced students, who desire to
become thorough Bible Students, are advised to take it.
COURSE C.
ROBERTSON L. WHITESIDE.
The Session-Daily.
Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, Joshua,
Judges, Ruth and Job.
The purpose of this course is to impart a thorough, detailed
and practical knowledge of the contents of the books included.
COURSE D.
JESSE P. SEWELL.
The Session-Daily.
First and Second Samuel, First and Second Kings, with the
parallel passages in Chronicles; the other historical books of
the Old Testament, and a historical study of the prophetic
Books.
This course presents a thorough, detailed practical study of
the books included.39
