Major Requirements.-In addition to the general requirements
for the Bachelor of Science degree, those students who make Business
Administration a major must submit six semester hours of Accounting
(331 and 332), six semester hours of Economics (323 and
324), and a minimum of eighteen semester hours of advanced work,
including Business Law 385 and 386.
Economics (323 and 324) is a prerequisite to all advanced work.
Minor Requirements.-A minimum of eighteen semester hours,
six of which must be advanced, may be done in any of the following
subjects: education, social science, public speaking, English, Bible,
natural science, mathematics, or a modern language.

Elementary typewriting, first semester.
102.-Typewriting.
Elementary typewriting, second semester.

Mastery of principles of Gregg Shorthand.
302.-Shorthand.
Continuation of 301.
311.-Business Law (First Course).
General principles of the law of property, torts, contracts,
agency, insurance, bailments, employer, and employee, and negotiable
instruments.
312.-Business Law (First Course).
Carriers, sales, partnership, corporation, deeds, and mortgages,
landlord and tenant, business crimes.
323.-Principles of Economics.
Needs, wants, production, price, money, monopoly, banking,
business organization.
324.-Continuation of Economics 323.
Transportation, wealth, income, taxation, labor problems, government
ownership, methods of reforming economic system.
331.-Principles of Accounting.
Uses of accounting; interpretation of financial statements; sole
ownership; controlling accounts; accruals and deferred items,
practice set.
332.-Principles of Accounting (Continued).
