CONTINUATION COURSES.
All courses are designated by capital letters; the more advanced
the letter the more advanced the course. In the case of
courses that run for more than one term, the first or fall term
in indicated by a small "f" suffixed to the designating capital
letter, the second or winter term, by a small "w," and the third
or spring term by a small "s." Courses thus indicated are
continuation courses, and no credit will be given for the work
until all three terms have been completed. Independent
courses are designated by capital letters without any suffixed
letter. They are complete in the one term and are so credited.
CLASSIFICATION OF STUDENTS.
Students in this college are classified in three groups, as
follow:
Special Students. All students who are not pursuing regular
work in this department and are not meeting the requirements
of graduation from one of the following groups fall in
this group. A Special Student may change his classification
when he has satisfied the requirements for one of the following
groups.
English Group. In this group is classified those students
who have met the requirements of entrance into the College
of Arts and Sciences and who are pursuing the regular course
toward graduation from this department but who are not satisfying
the foreign language (Hebrew and Greek) requirements
for graduation from the College of the Bible.
Classical Group. To obtain classification in this group
the student must have satisfied all requirements for entrance
into the College of Arts and Sciences, must have a bachelor's
degree or must be meeting the requirements for an academic
degree, and must also be taking work in the original languages
of the Bible, that is, Hebrew and Greek.
