ABILENE CHRISTIAN COLLEGE
before or after coming to Abilene. These uniforms will be worn
until March the first. We suggest simple dresses for every-day
wear. If you have plenty of money, there is no reason why you
should waste it on your daughters while they are in school. It
will do them harm and not good.
Young ladies who appear on programs will be expected to
wear simple inexpensive white dresses. Please do not bring lowneck,
sleeveless "evening gowns," as they cannot be worn.
CORRESPONDENCE AND VISITS INVITED.
If there is anything in which you are interested as to the
work of our institution, please write us fully and freely. At any
time during the year we welcome visits from our patrons and
friends. Write us and we will meet you at the station. You will
be welcomed.
CONSERVATION OF TIME AND ENERGY.
We read and hear a great deal about conservation. The most
important conservation is the conservation of time and energy of
the individual. In this age of intense physical and mental activity
the individual who would succeed and last must so order
his life as to be free as possible from all friction and without
a waste of time and energy. Every student is led to work according
to a well ordered program. The general program in Daisy
Hall, Zellner Hall, and in every home where our students board,
will be as follows:
6:30 7:00-Arise and arrange rooms.
7:00- 8:00-Breakfast.
8:00-10:00-Study and recitations.
10:00-10:30-Chapel.
10:30-12:30-Study and recitations.
12-30- 1:30-Lunch.
1:30- 3:30-Study and recitations.
3:30- 6:00-Exercise.
6:00- 7:00-Dinner.
7:00-10:30-Study.
WHAT WE CAN DO.
We can offer a college of the first class. With our splendid
equipment and our excellent faculty of Christian men and women,
we can furnish the environment. We cannot guarantee the growth.
