ABILENE CHRISTIAN COLLEGE

hour" is meant one hour's recitation or lecture through a term of
three months. Thus a course meeting three times per week during
one term will be given credit for three "term-hours"; one
meeting three hours per week for the nine months session will
receive nine "term-hours" of credit.
STANDARD OF GRADING.
Students finishing the full course must average not lower
than B-plus in all their studies. Those finishing the shorter
courses must average at least B. Any one falling below C in any
term is "conditioned" in that subject, he may take it over or may
satisfy certain requirements and be able in the work of other
terms on the course to make his average above the minimum requirement.
A third test will not be given any student for any
course or term.
CONCERNING CREDITS.
The work of the College of the Bible is so correlated with
that of the College of Arts and Sciences that the student may
pursue his work toward a college degree and at the same time

four year college course and the regular three year course
in Bible college in advance of that in six years, thus receiving
his Bachelor of Arts degree and his diploma equivalent to the
degree of Bachelor of Divinity (B. D.) or Bachelor of Theology
(Th. B.) one year earlier than would be possible should he do
the work in each college separately.
The following courses in the College of the Bible are credited
in the College of Arts and Sciences toward the bachelor's degree:

Hebrew, 18 term-hours (i. e. 3 3-5 courses in college).
New Testament, 9 term-hours (i. e. 1 4-5 courses in college).
Greek, 9 term-hours (i. e. 1 4-5 courses in college).
Public Speaking, 9 term hours (i. e. 1 4-5 courses in college).
Church History, 9 term-hours (i. e. 1 4-5 courses in college).
Christian Sociology and Pedagogy, 22 term-hours (4 2-5
courses in college).
CONTINUATION COURSES.
All courses are designated by capital letters; the more advanced
