For the Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration the following
requirements must be met:
1. Twelve semester hours of natural science or six hours of natural
science and psychology 320 and business psychology 375.
2. Six hours economics. (323 and 324.)
3. Three hours of general psychology. (For those not taking general
psychology under one above.
4. Six hours public speaking.
5. Six hours mathematics. (No substitution of Latin or Greek.);
6. Six hours accounting (331 and 332).
7. Six hours business law (311 and 312).
8. Three hours corporation finance (364).
9. Three hours short-term finance. (362)
10. Three hours marketing (371).
11. Three hours business correspondence (350).
12. Three hours business statistics. (Mathematics 383.)
13. Three to six months of business experience reported in writing.
14. Ability to type, touch system, twenty words per minute.

Mastery of principles of Gregg shorthand and ol typewriting. Three
discussion periods and three laboratory hours.

311.-Business Law.
General principles of the law of property, torts, contracts, agency,
insurance, bailments, employer, and employee, and negotiable instruments.312-Business Law (Continued)
Carriers, sales, partnership, corporations, deeds and mortgages, landlord
and tenant, business crimes. Continuation of 311.
331.--Principles of Accounting.
Uses of accounting; interpretation of financial statements; sole
ownership; controlling accounts; accruals and deferred items; practice
set.
332.-Principles of Accounting (Continued).
Partnership; corporations; manufacturing accounts; fixed and intangible
assets. Continuation of 331.
350.-Business Correspondence.
Practice in use of correct, forceful English in writing business letters
and reports. Sales letters, adjustments, credits and collections;
inquiries, orders, responses, follow-ups, introductions, application,
recommendations; routine business.
