384.-The Teaching of High School Mathematics. 3 semester hours
A practical course in the teaching of high school mathematics.
Stress is placed upon new trends in Junior high mathematics, in
algebra and geometry. Emphasis is also given to teaching units
in the various divisions.
DIVISION OF ADMINISTRATION
361.-State School Administration. 3 semester hours
A study of the development of the various units for school administration,
with special and detailed study of the state as the unit.
362.-Public School Administration. 3 semester hours
A study of the problems of organization and administration of
the public school with special emphasis on the small high school.
265.-Supervision of Elementary Instruction. 2 semester hours
A study of scientific organization and administration of the elementary
school subjects.
368.-Introduction to Tests and Measurements. 3 semester hours
A study of standardized and non-standardized tests that may be
used in classroom instruction.
373.-Organization and Administration of the Public School
Curriculum. 3 semester hours
A study of the principles of curriculum construction and the practical
application of these principles in the building of courses of
study for the elementary and secondary school subjects.
DIVISION OF PSYCHOLOGY AND PHILOSOPHY
320.-General Psychology. 3 semester hours
A study of mental life which gives a general view of mental activity
in its various aspects.
322.-Adolescent Psychology. 3 semester hours

385.-History of Education. 3 semester hours
This is a general course in the history of education, showing in
some detail, how our present educational theories and practices
have been developed through ancient, medieval and modern times.
In order for one to profit from the course, he should have-had at
least twelve semester hours in Education.
392.-Child Psychology. 3 semester hours
An intensive study of the child from birth to eleven or twelve
years of age. The physical, mental, moral, social, and religious
phases of development are considered.10
