GENERAL INFORMATION
Students are expected to pay their bills when they register. In
case the student must run a charge account the College will add $2.00
service charge to the student's bill. It helps both the student and the
College, therefore, to pay all bills by the semester in advance.
For the above charges, in addition to the regular services of the
College, the school provides the following without extra fees:
1. Physical examination for all students. Medical attention for
minor cases by the college physician or school nurse in the doctor's
office or in the dormitories. Extra charges are made for surgery,
X-Rays, drugs, hospital care, dental work, and one dollar ($1.00) for
visits made by the college physician to students who do not live in the
dormitories. Parents are notified immediately in all serious illness
or emergencies. Students may choose their own physician but are
then responsible for all expenses incurred.
2. Subscription to The Optimist, the weekly paper of the student
body.
3. Admission to all regular inter-collegiate athletic contests.
4. Use of the library.
A fee of $1.00 is charged each student for an announced test or
an examination taken out of schedule or for the removal of a semester
grade of "E" or "I". This fee is payable to the bursar in advance.
