30COURSES IN CHRISTIAN EDUCATION:
311-Personnel of the Church.
This is a general survey of the membership of the group which
constitutes the church. It is a study of the qualifications, responsibilities,
privileges, manner of selecting, etc., of those
who promote the Cause of Christ. This course, and the one to
follow, Ch. Ed. 312, are designed to include every activity and
responsibility of the church and the persons who are to discharge
these functions.
312-Work and Worship of the Church.
Primarily, the church exists as a temple of worship and from
which the word of God is to be sounded. Secondarily, the
church has social obligations which will be considered and
properly treated. The church is the medium by which man
may be reestablished with God. This, then, is a survey of the
fruits resulting from individual and group efforts wherever
and whenever the principles of the Bible are involved.
321-The Educational Program of the Church.
Christianity is a teaching religion. The salvation of souls depends
upon a knowledge of the truth. Understanding and appreciating
the Gospel depends upon effective teaching. Therefore,
instruction is the heart and core of the Christian religion.
The first part of this course is a study of the Master Teacher.
The second part will be an effort to apply Jesus' principles to
the educational efforts of the church.B.S.
